Spoilers

During the episode, details on Lee Young Joon (played by Park Seo Joon) and Kim Mi So’s (played by Park Min Young) kidnapping as well as why their kidnapper chose death were revealed. Young Lee Young Joon had also protected Kim Mi So by preventing her from seeing the dead woman, but as he was a child, he became traumatized.

In the present, he expressed how happy he had been that she hadn’t been traumatized from the incident as she had no memory of it. While waiting for Kim Mi So to wake up, he confessed, “I realized then, I couldn’t ever let you go. From the very beginning, it had to be you.” When she woke, she told him, “Shall we bury the bad memories deep underground?” and touchingly said, “From now on, we’re going to be happy since we’re going to be together.”
