“SKY Castle” has set a new record!
The JTBC drama tells the story of the people living in a luxury apartment building in suburban Seoul where ambitious women try to get their children admitted into prestigious universities.
According to Nielsen Korea, the December 29 episode of the drama recorded a viewership rating of 12.3 percent nationwide. This is a new high for the drama after the 11.3 percent achieved for the December 22 episode. “SKY Castle” has continued to show impressive growth since the premiere, which recorded only 1.7 percent nationwide.
Not only is 12.3 percent a record for the drama, but it has also broken the record for JTBC dramas. The previous highest rating for a JTBC drama was 12.1 percent for “Woman of Dignity” in 2017.
