Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa — the talented, versatile ladies of girl group quartet Mamamoo — are impressing K-drama fans with their newest recording, “Wow.”

The engaging pop tune is the most recent song be released as the soundtrack of the tvN drama, “Search: WWW.” The rap verses in this piece were penned by Moonbyul herself.

Before becoming available in major music charts, the track was only heard in parts during important scenes involving the drama’s lead actress Im Soo Jung, who plays the role of Bae Ta Mi (an Internet company executive).

“Search: WWW,” premiered on June 5, 2019, follows the story of three powerhouse ladies who work in leading search engine companies. The other two actresses breathing life to these roles are Lee Da Hee and Jeon Hye Jin. Fast-rising rookie actor Jang Ki Yong is also a member of the cast as a young CEO and the love interest of Soo Jung.

Apart from Mamamoo, the drama’s soundtrack features artists like Sam Kim, Elaine, O3ohn, and Jang Beom Jun.

Mamamoo’s “Wow” is their latest offering following their mini-album “White Wind” released earlier this year. The lead track off the EP, “gogobebe” has earned the talented K-pop ladies a total of seven music show wins.

“White Wind” caps off their four-part musical project called “Four Seasons, Four Colors” — which also includes their EPs “Yellow Flower,” “Red Moon,” and “Blues.”

Debuted in 2014, the quartet is recognized for its powerful vocals as showcased in their hit songs like “Mr. Ambiguous,” “Starry Night,” and “Egotistic.” They are also known for their sultry choreographies.

Since their formation, they have already released nine EPs, one full-length album, and 17 singles. They have also lent their kinds of music prowess to give life in K-drama soundtracks, including theme songs used in “Marriage, Not Dating,” “My Lovely Girl,” “Goblin,” “Strong Girl Bong Soon,” and “Man To Man.”
